One Mediterranean remedy is to drink a spoonful of olive oil before drinking alcohol. If there’s any truth to this theory, we suggest you dip some bread in olive oil rather than slathering it with butter (if nothing else, most doctors would agree that your heart will thank you). Do you agree?

  • Visit Rangihoua to find out the truth – this Olive Estate produces the most prolific award-winning Extra Virgin Olive Oils in New Zealand. Taste and learn more about Olive & Honey!
  • Next on the list is – the first vineyard on Waiheke – Goldie Vineyard. Established in 1978, planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Viognier and Chardonnay..
  • Enjoy your wine tasting in this beautiful environment.

Your visit to Waiheke is incomplete without exploring this unique organic Vineyard – Kennedy Point Vineyard.

Explore this “Boutique Winery of Waiheke” – taste Kennedy Point award winning wines, olive oil, and honey; and enjoy lunch while you look out over the bay in this exceptional vineyard setting. The vineyard is the first fully organic certified on Waiheke Island.

Visit Cable Bay Vineyard ( your last winery on the tour) – Pamper yourself Here!

This company has been developed by a small group of wine lovers who are passionate about New Zealand and its wines. Their goal is to produce a select range of high quality wines from grapes grown on Waiheke Island and in Central Otago and Marlborough. These varieties include Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Viognier, Syrah, Pinot Noir and a Bordeaux-style blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec.

We then head off for the 5 PM ferry back to Auckland City, driving by Palm Beach – a stunning beach of Waiheke.
